CIICED also active in sports activities. One national level chess tournament is organized by trust every year. The tournament is known as, “The Indiana All India Fede Rating Open chess tournament” The tournament is being conducted at nagpur every year from 2014, by the trust. The First Indiana All India Fede Rating Chess Tournament is conducted from 12 Dec. 2014 to 16 Dec. 2014. 265 students of 6 to 60 age age group from various states of India had participated in the tournament. Second “Indiana All India Fede Rating Tournament” was organized in 2015 from 14th Nov. to 20th Nov. 2015. 218 boys and girls of all age have participated in the tournament. This prestigious tournament has been organized every year in association with Nagpur Taluka Chess Association, Nagpur District Chess Association, Maharashtra State Chess federation and All India Chess Federation.
